A Story Born From the Sea

Blue Dolph Pemuteran began with a simple idea: to share the incredible marine life of North West Bali while protecting the ocean that local communities depend on every day.

How It All Started

In 2025, local fishermen Abdul, Poer, and Dayat spent time talking with travelers visiting Pemuteran.

During these conversations, they discovered that many visitors were unaware of the remarkable dolphin populations living just offshore.

Although local fishermen had known these waters for generations, very few tourism operators were offering responsible dolphin experiences in Pemuteran.

That realization inspired the creation of Blue Dolph Pemuteran.

A Hidden Marine Paradise

The waters surrounding Pemuteran are home to an incredible diversity of marine mammals.

Guests regularly encounter Spinner Dolphins, Bottlenose Dolphins, Pantropical Spotted Dolphins, Fraser's Dolphins, and Risso's Dolphins.

On especially lucky days, larger visitors such as Pilot Whales, Bryde's Whales, and Sperm Whales may also pass through the area.

Every encounter is unique because these animals live completely free in their natural habitat.

Growing Through Local Support

Blue Dolph Pemuteran officially launched in May 2025.

Starting with a small traditional boat and a deep passion for sharing the ocean, the team promoted their tours through social media, Google Maps, and partnerships with local guesthouses and homestays.

As more travelers discovered Pemuteran, the team grew and expanded its experiences while staying true to its original mission.
